The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.20.18

तस्य ब्राह्मणगेहस्य सशैलवनपत्तना ।
इयमन्तः स्थिता भूमिः संकल्पादर्शयोरिव ॥ १८ ॥

tasya brāhmaṇagehasya saśailavanapattanā |
iyamantaḥ sthitā bhūmiḥ saṃkalpādarśayoriva || 18 ||

So were the hills and habitations which were seen in the empty space of the Brahman's house, which was no other than the capacity of his own mind to form the images of its fancy, and receive the external impressions like a reflecting mirror.
