The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.18.7

इति निश्चित्य तां देवीं पूजयामास सा तदा ।
ददर्श च पुरः प्राप्तां कुमारीरूपधारिणीम् ॥ ७ ॥

iti niścitya tāṃ devīṃ pūjayāmāsa sā tadā |
dadarśa ca puraḥ prāptāṃ kumārīrūpadhāriṇīm || 7 ||

So saying, she worshipped and invoked the goddess, and beheld her immediately present before herself, in the form of a virgin.
