The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

यज्ञवाटपठद्विप्र जिततूर्याग्रनिःस्वनम् ।
बन्दिकोलाहलोल्लासप्रतिश्रुद्वनकुञ्जरम् ॥ २६ ॥

yajñavāṭapaṭhadvipra jitatūryāgraniḥsvanam |
bandikolāhalollāsapratiśrudvanakuñjaram || 26 ||

The recitals of Brahmans on sacrificial altars, died away under the sound of the timbrels; and the loud shouts of panegyrists, were re-echoed by the uproar of elephants.
