The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

तत्तत्याज निमेषेण सान्तःकरणपञ्जरम् ।
स्वदेहं खमिवोड्डीना मुक्तनीडा विहंगमी ॥ १६ ॥

tattatyāja nimeṣeṇa sāntaḥkaraṇapañjaram |
svadehaṃ khamivoḍḍīnā muktanīḍā vihaṃgamī || 16 ||

She quitted in a moment the prison house of her body, and her soul broke out of its inner bound of the mind, to fly freely in the air, like a bird freed from its cage:
