The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

क्षिप्रमाक्रन्दिनी क्षिप्रं मौनमूका वियोगिनी ।
बभूव चक्रवाकीव मानिनी मरणोन्मुखी ॥ ४९ ॥

kṣipramākrandinī kṣipraṃ maunamūkā viyoginī |
babhūva cakravākīva māninī maraṇonmukhī || 49 ||

She moved one moment and was then mute as a statue; she was about to die of grief, as the ruddy goose at the separation of her mate.
