The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.16.13

आर्द्रकुङ्कुमकर्पूरताम्बूलीदलचर्वणैः ।
फुल्लपुष्पलतागुञ्जादेहगोपनखव्रणैः ॥ १३ ॥

ārdrakuṅkumakarpūratāmbūlīdalacarvaṇaiḥ |
phullapuṣpalatāguñjādehagopanakhavraṇaiḥ || 13 ||

They chewed betel leaves mixed with moistened mace and camphor, and saffron; and hid the love marks on their bodies, under wreaths of flowers and corals, with which they were adorned.
