The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

उद्यानवनगुल्मेषु तमालगहनेषु च ।
पुष्पमण्डपरम्येषु लतावलयसद्मसु ॥ २ ॥

udyānavanagulmeṣu tamālagahaneṣu ca |
puṣpamaṇḍaparamyeṣu latāvalayasadmasu || 2 ||

The seats of their youthful sports were the gardens and groves, the arbours of shrubberies, and forests of Tamala trees. They sported also in the pleasant arbours of creepers and delightful alcoves of flowers.
