The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

संग्रामवीरुत्पवनो मनोमातङ्गकेसरी ।
समस्तविद्यादयितः सर्वाश्चर्यगुणाकरः ॥ २२ ॥
saṃgrāmavīrutpavano manomātaṅgakesarī |
samastavidyādayitaḥ sarvāścaryaguṇākaraḥ || 22 ||
He was as a blast to the creepers of his antagonists in warfare; and as a lion to the elephants of his mind (appetites). He was the favourite of all learning, and a patron of the learned, and a mine of all admirable qualities.
