The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

जगत्यपिण्डग्राहेऽस्मिन्संकल्पनगरोपमे ।
मरौ सरिदिवाभाति दृश्यता भ्रान्तिरूपिणी ॥ ८ ॥

jagatyapiṇḍagrāhe'sminsaṃkalpanagaropame |
marau saridivābhāti dṛśyatā bhrāntirūpiṇī || 8 ||

The illusive forms of the visibles, in this supposed substantial form of the world, resemble at least, but aerial castles and rivers in the mirage.
