The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.14.64

स्वयं विचित्रं स्फुरति चिदण्डकमनाहतम् ।
स्वयं विलक्षणस्पन्दं चिद्वायुरण्डजात्मकः ॥ ६४ ॥

svayaṃ vicitraṃ sphurati cidaṇḍakamanāhatam |
svayaṃ vilakṣaṇaspandaṃ cidvāyuraṇḍajātmakaḥ || 64 ||

The intellect exhibits itself in the form of the boundless and wonderful mundane egg, and it breathes out the breath of its own spirit in the same egg.
