The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

शान्ताशेषविशेषं हि चित्प्रकाशच्छटा जगत् ।
कार्यकारणकादित्वं तस्मादन्यन्न विद्यते ॥ ५९ ॥

śāntāśeṣaviśeṣaṃ hi citprakāśacchaṭā jagat |
kāryakāraṇakāditvaṃ tasmādanyanna vidyate || 59 ||

He, the radiance of the light of whose intellect, is the cause of infinite blessings to the world, is both its author and workmanship from all eternity, and there is none beside him.
