Yoga Vasistha [sanskrit]

223,437 words | ISBN-10: 8171101519

The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.14.27

सर्वानणुतया त्वस्य न क्वचिद्भेदकल्पना ।
विद्यते या हि कलना सा तदेवानुभूतितः ॥ २७ ॥

sarvānaṇutayā tvasya na kvacidbhedakalpanā |
vidyate yā hi kalanā sā tadevānubhūtitaḥ || 27 ||

His want of minuteness (i. e. his fulness) in all places, precludes his distinctive appellations every where. Whatever attributes are given him (by fiction), are all to be understood to mean Brahma himself.
