The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.12.10

अहंतोदेति तदनु सह वै कालसत्तया ।
भविष्यदभिधार्थेन बीजं मुख्यजगत्स्थितेः ॥ १० ॥

ahaṃtodeti tadanu saha vai kālasattayā |
bhaviṣyadabhidhārthena bījaṃ mukhyajagatsthiteḥ || 10 ||

Next in order are produced the elements of egoism and duration in the living soul; (i. e. the simultaneousness of the ideas of self-entity and duration in the living principle). And these two terms, are the roots of the subsistence of future worlds.
