The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अङ्गलग्नेऽपि वातादौ स्पर्शाद्यनुभवं विना ।
जीवतश्चेतसो रूपं यत्तद्वै परमात्मनः ॥ ४२ ॥

aṅgalagne'pi vātādau sparśādyanubhavaṃ vinā |
jīvataścetaso rūpaṃ yattadvai paramātmanaḥ || 42 ||

He who has no feeling of the breathing of the winds, or of the touch or pressure of any thing upon his body;but lives as a mass of intelligence in this life; is verily the form of the Supreme.
