The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अनन्यच्छान्तमाभासमात्रमाकाशनिर्मलम् ।
ब्रह्मैव जगदित्येतत्सर्वं सत्त्वावबोधतः ॥ ३० ॥

ananyacchāntamābhāsamātramākāśanirmalam |
brahmaiva jagadityetatsarvaṃ sattvāvabodhataḥ || 30 ||

He is no other but himself, of the nature of pure intellect, and of the form of the clear and tranquil vacuum (that pervades all things). Brahma is said to be the world, to signify his manifestation of its unreality as a reality unto us.
