The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.4.61

श्रीवसिष्ठ उवाच ।
अस्य दृश्यपिशाचस्य शान्त्यै मन्त्रमिमं श्रृणु ।
रामात्यन्तमयं येन मृतिमेष्यति नङक्ष्यति ॥ ६१ ॥

śrīvasiṣṭha uvāca |
asya dṛśyapiśācasya śāntyai mantramimaṃ śrṛṇu |
rāmātyantamayaṃ yena mṛtimeṣyati naṅakṣyati || 61 ||

Vasishtha replied:—Now hear my advice, Rama, for the suppression of this phantom of phenomenon, whereby it will surely die away and become utterly extinct.
