223,437 words | ISBN-10: 8171101519

The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 2.19.13

यया कयाचिद्युक्त्या तु बोद्धव्यं बोध्यमेव ते ।
युक्तायुक्तं न पश्यन्ति व्याकुला बोधचञ्चवः ॥ १३ ॥

yayā kayācidyuktyā tu boddhavyaṃ bodhyameva te |
yuktāyuktaṃ na paśyanti vyākulā bodhacañcavaḥ || 13 ||

From every form of argument you are to understand the intelligible (that is explained to you); but the confounded disputant is blind both to right and false reasoning.
