The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

स्वप्नसंकल्पनाध्यानवरशापौषधादिभिः ।
यथार्था इह दृष्टान्तास्तद्रूपत्वाज्जगत्स्थितेः ॥ ५९ ॥

svapnasaṃkalpanādhyānavaraśāpauṣadhādibhiḥ |
yathārthā iha dṛṣṭāntāstadrūpatvājjagatsthiteḥ || 59 ||

The simile of the existence of the world with the dreaming state is exact in all instances, as our desires, thoughts, our pleasures and displeasures, and all other acts are alike in both states.
