The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 2.18.8

परा नागरतोदेति महत्त्वगुणशालिनी ।
सा यया स्नेहमायान्ति राजानो अमरा अपि ॥ ८ ॥

parā nāgaratodeti mahattvaguṇaśālinī |
sā yayā snehamāyānti rājāno amarā api || 8 ||

They will produce a cleverness joined with such qualifications and greatness, as to engage the good grace of gods and kings.
