The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 2.18.6

श्रुतायां प्राज्ञवदनाद्बुद्ध्वान्तं स्वयमेव च ।
शनैःशनैर्विचारेण बुद्धौ संस्कार आगते ॥ ६ ॥

śrutāyāṃ prājñavadanādbuddhvāntaṃ svayameva ca |
śanaiḥśanairvicāreṇa buddhau saṃskāra āgate || 6 ||

Whether these lessons are heard from the mouth of the learned, or well studied by one's self, they will gradually make their impressions upon the mind by one's constant reflection on their sense.
