The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 2.17.31

इत्थमभ्यागतो वृद्धिमिति तत्रोच्यते चिरम् ।
उपशान्तिप्रकरणं ततः पञ्चसहस्रकम् ॥ ३१ ॥

itthamabhyāgato vṛddhimiti tatrocyate ciram |
upaśāntiprakaraṇaṃ tataḥ pañcasahasrakam || 31 ||

It has thus arrived at its development which is said to be everlasting. Next follows the book on quietude consisting of five thousand stanzas.
