The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 2.16.15

विच्छिन्नग्रन्थयस्तज्ज्ञाः साधवः सर्वसंमताः ।
सर्वोपायेन संसेव्यास्ते ह्युपाया भवाम्बुधौ ॥ १५ ॥

vicchinnagranthayastajjñāḥ sādhavaḥ sarvasaṃmatāḥ |
sarvopāyena saṃsevyāste hyupāyā bhavāmbudhau || 15 ||

Hence all unscrupulous believers, holy men and those who are revered by people, are to be served by all means for crossing over the ocean of the world.
