The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

विश्रान्तमनसो धन्याः प्रयत्नेन परेण हि ।
दरिद्रेणेव मणयः प्रेक्षणीया हि साधवः ॥ १२ ॥

viśrāntamanaso dhanyāḥ prayatnena pareṇa hi |
daridreṇeva maṇayaḥ prekṣaṇīyā hi sādhavaḥ || 12 ||

Blessed are the peaceful in their minds, who are viewed with as great an ardour by people, as poor men fondly dote upon gems and jewels.
