The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 2.15.8

संतोषशीतलं चेतः शुद्धविज्ञानदृष्टिभिः ।
भृशं विकासमायाति सूर्यांशुभिरिवाम्बुजम् ॥ ८ ॥

saṃtoṣaśītalaṃ cetaḥ śuddhavijñānadṛṣṭibhiḥ |
bhṛśaṃ vikāsamāyāti sūryāṃśubhirivāmbujam || 8 ||

The mind cooled by calm contentment, and purified by the light of philosophy, is always in its full bloom as the lotus under sun-beams.
