The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

विचारकान्तमतयो नानेकेषु पुनःपुनः ।
लुठन्ति दुःखश्वभ्रेषु ज्ञाताध्वगतयो नराः ॥ ४४ ॥

vicārakāntamatayo nānekeṣu punaḥpunaḥ |
luṭhanti duḥkhaśvabhreṣu jñātādhvagatayo narāḥ || 44 ||

Men with their minds illumed by the light of reason, are like travellers acquainted with their way, and are not liable to pit falls of incessant danger and misery.
