The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

परमात्ममयी मान्या महानन्दैकसाधिनी ।
क्षणमेकं परित्याज्या न विचारचमत्कृतिः ॥ ४२ ॥

paramātmamayī mānyā mahānandaikasādhinī |
kṣaṇamekaṃ parityājyā na vicāracamatkṛtiḥ || 42 ||

The miraculous power of reason is acknowledged to be a divine attribute and an instrument to highest felicity; wherefore it is not to be lost sight of for a moment.
