The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

विचारविकला यस्य मतिर्मान्द्यमुपेयुषः ।
तस्योदेत्यशनिश्चन्द्रान्मुधा यक्षः शिशोरिव ॥ १७ ॥

vicāravikalā yasya matirmāndyamupeyuṣaḥ |
tasyodetyaśaniścandrānmudhā yakṣaḥ śiśoriva || 17 ||

The man having a dull mind and incapable of reasoning (of reason) as a flash of lightning, like boys, sees false apparitions about him.
