The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 2.13.42

सुखसेव्यासनस्थेन तद्विचारयता स्वयम् ।
न शोच्यते पदं प्राप्य न स भूयो हि जायते ॥ ४२ ॥

sukhasevyāsanasthena tadvicārayatā svayam |
na śocyate padaṃ prāpya na sa bhūyo hi jāyate || 42 ||

One sitting at ease in his seat and meditating within himself (the nature of the soul), attains the blissful state, which is free from sorrow and future birth.
