The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 2.13.41

विवेकमात्रसाध्यं तद्विचारैकान्तनिश्चयम् ।
त्यजता दुःखजालानि नरेणैतदवाप्यते ॥ ४१ ॥

vivekamātrasādhyaṃ tadvicāraikāntaniścayam |
tyajatā duḥkhajālāni nareṇaitadavāpyate || 41 ||

So it is by means of discrimination, reasoning and ultimate ascertainment of truth, that a man may avoid the snares of misery, and attain his best state.
