The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 2.13.36

प्रवृत्तिः पुरुषस्येह मोक्षोपायविचारणे ।
यदा भवत्याशु तदा मोक्षभागी स उच्यते ॥ ३६ ॥

pravṛttiḥ puruṣasyeha mokṣopāyavicāraṇe |
yadā bhavatyāśu tadā mokṣabhāgī sa ucyate || 36 ||

Whenever a man is inclined to think on the means of his salvation, he is sure to be soon entitled to his liberation.
