The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

घनतषपयातं हि प्रज्ञामान्द्यमचेतसाम् ।
याति स्थावरतामम्बु जाड्यात्पाषाणतामिव ॥ ६३ ॥

ghanataṣapayātaṃ hi prajñāmāndyamacetasām |
yāti sthāvaratāmambu jāḍyātpāṣāṇatāmiva || 63 ||

The dull understanding of the senseless man becomes as stiff as a (motionless) block, and like the frozen water becoming as hard as stone.
