The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

दृष्ट्वैवमातुरं सर्ग सर्गस्य सकलां गतिम् ।
भूतभव्यभविष्यस्थां दश परमेश्वरः ॥ ५ ॥

dṛṣṭvaivamāturaṃ sarga sargasya sakalāṃ gatim |
bhūtabhavyabhaviṣyasthāṃ daśa parameśvaraḥ || 5 ||

This great lord saw the imperfection of his creation, and saw its whole course (at one view) in times past, present and future.
