The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

ततः पृष्टः स भगवान्मया सकललोककृत् ।
हेमपद्मदलस्थेन संसारव्याधिभेषजम् ॥ ३४ ॥

tataḥ pṛṣṭaḥ sa bhagavānmayā sakalalokakṛt |
hemapadmadalasthena saṃsāravyādhibheṣajam || 34 ||

Then the lord creator of all peoples was asked by me, seated as I had been on the gold-coloured leaflet of the lotus, about the medicine of worldly woes.
