The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

सुखदुःखक्षयकरं महानन्देककारणम् ।
मोक्षोपायमिमं राम वक्ष्यमाणं मया शृणु ॥ ७ ॥

sukhaduḥkhakṣayakaraṃ mahānandekakāraṇam |
mokṣopāyamimaṃ rāma vakṣyamāṇaṃ mayā śṛṇu || 7 ||

Hear me relate to you Rama, the way to emancipation, which will remove your feelings of pain and pleasure, and become the surest means to lead you to supreme happiness.
