The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

नित्यं स्वपौरुषादेव लोकद्वयहितं भवेत् ।
ह्यस्तनी दुष्क्रियाभ्येति शोभां सत्क्रियया यथा ॥ ३७ ॥

nityaṃ svapauruṣādeva lokadvayahitaṃ bhavet |
hyastanī duṣkriyābhyeti śobhāṃ satkriyayā yathā || 37 ||

One benefits himself always by his activity in both worlds, as his good acts of to-day gives a grace to those of yesterday.
