The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

स्वार्थप्रापककार्यैकप्रयत्नपरता बुधैः ।
प्रोक्ता पौरुषशब्देन सा सिद्ध्यै शास्त्रयन्त्रिता ॥ ३२ ॥

svārthaprāpakakāryaikaprayatnaparatā budhaiḥ |
proktā pauruṣaśabdena sā siddhyai śāstrayantritā || 32 ||

Devoted diligence in acts leading to one's object, is termed to be his manliness by the wise; and that being guided by the Sastra leads to his success.
