The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

देशकालक्रियाद्रव्यवशतो विस्फुरन्त्यमी ।
सर्व एव जगद्भावा जयत्यधिकयत्नवान् ॥ २३ ॥

deśakālakriyādravyavaśato visphurantyamī |
sarva eva jagadbhāvā jayatyadhikayatnavān || 23 ||

All our acts are subject to their proper time and place, and to the modes of their operation and combination according to the course of nature; hence it is that the more diligent are the most successful.
