The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 2.4.7

तस्मात्प्रकृतमेवेदं शृणु श्रवणभूषणम् ।
मयोपदिश्यमानं त्वं ज्ञानमज्ञान्ध्यनाशनम् ॥ ७ ॥

tasmātprakṛtamevedaṃ śṛṇu śravaṇabhūṣaṇam |
mayopadiśyamānaṃ tvaṃ jñānamajñāndhyanāśanam || 7 ||

Now therefore attend to the true doctrine that I am going to deliver to you, which will be a jewel to your ears as it will dispel the darkness of ignorance.
