The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 2.3.20

सर्वतः सदृशाः केचित्कुलक्रममनोगुणेः ।
केचिदर्धेन सदृशाः केचिच्चातिविलक्षणाः ॥ २० ॥

sarvataḥ sadṛśāḥ kecitkulakramamanoguṇeḥ |
kecidardhena sadṛśāḥ keciccātivilakṣaṇāḥ || 20 ||

All beings here are but the waves of this sea, of which some are alike to one another in their minds and natures, while others are half alike, and some quite different from the rest.
