The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 2.1.42

अनुशिष्टः स इत्येवं जनकेन महात्मना ।
अतिष्ठत्स शुकस्तूष्णीं स्वच्छे परमवस्तुनि ॥ ४२ ॥

anuśiṣṭaḥ sa ityevaṃ janakena mahātmanā |
atiṣṭhatsa śukastūṣṇīṃ svacche paramavastuni || 42 ||

Being thus advised by the magnanimous Janaka, Suka remained silent with his mind fixed in the purely supreme object.
