The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

विश्वामित्र उवाच ।
जनकेनेति पृष्टेन शुकस्य कथितं तदा ।
तदेव यत्पुरा प्रोक्तं तस्य पित्रा महात्मना ॥ ३० ॥

viśvāmitra uvāca |
janakeneti pṛṣṭena śukasya kathitaṃ tadā |
tadeva yatpurā proktaṃ tasya pitrā mahātmanā || 30 ||

Viswamitra said: Being thus asked by Suka, Janaka spoke to him the same things which he had learned from his great souled father.
