The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 2.1.25

ते भोगास्तानि दुःखानि व्यासपुत्रस्य तन्मनः ।
नाजह्नुर्मन्दपवना बद्धपीठमिवाचलम् ॥ २५ ॥

te bhogāstāni duḥkhāni vyāsaputrasya tanmanaḥ |
nājahnurmandapavanā baddhapīṭhamivācalam || 25 ||

But neither those vexations nor these entertainments could affect the tenor of Suka's mind, which remained firm as a rock at the blasts of wind.
