The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

प्रविचारयतो लोकयात्रामलमिमां हृदि ।
तवेव किल तस्यापि विवेक उद्भूदयम् ॥ ९ ॥

pravicārayato lokayātrāmalamimāṃ hṛdi |
taveva kila tasyāpi viveka udbhūdayam || 9 ||

He reflected in his mind the vanity of worldly affairs like thyself, and became equally indifferent to all its concerns.
