The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

कुमार त्वां विना कस्य विवेकफलशालिनी ।
परं विकासमायाति प्रज्ञाशरलतातता ॥ ३३ ॥
kumāra tvāṃ vinā kasya vivekaphalaśālinī |
paraṃ vikāsamāyāti prajñāśaralatātatā || 33 ||
Who has such a clear head as our prince, a head which is as penetrating as the best pointed arrow, and as fruitful and beauteous as the creeping plant.
