The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 1.32.17

हिमवृष्टिरिवोदारा मुक्ताहारचयोपमा ।
ऐन्दवी रश्मिमालेव क्षीरोर्मीणामिवाततिः ॥ १७ ॥

himavṛṣṭirivodārā muktāhāracayopamā |
aindavī raśmimāleva kṣīrormīṇāmivātatiḥ || 17 ||

They resembled also as particles of snow-balls, or as the grains of a necklace of pearls or as beams of moon-light, or as the little billows of the sea of milk, or like drops of ice-cream.
