The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

सर्वे बभूवुस्तत्रस्था विस्मयोत्फुल्ललोचनाः ।
भिन्नाम्बरा देहरुहैर्गिरः श्रोतुमिवोद्धुरैः ॥ २ ॥

sarve babhūvustatrasthā vismayotphullalocanāḥ |
bhinnāmbarā deharuhairgiraḥ śrotumivoddhuraiḥ || 2 ||

All the men in the assembly had their eyes beaming forth with wonder, and the hairs on their bodies stood erect and pierced through their garments, as if wishing to hear the speech.
