The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 1.31.20

न भोक्ष्ये न पिबाम्यम्बु नाहं परिदधेऽम्बरम् ।
करोमि नाहं व्यापारं स्नानदानाशनादिकम् ॥ २० ॥

na bhokṣye na pibāmyambu nāhaṃ paridadhe'mbaram |
karomi nāhaṃ vyāpāraṃ snānadānāśanādikam || 20 ||

Or if there be no such precept (as I am in need of) in existence, or being in esse, it is not to be revealed to me by any body.
