The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

उत्पन्नध्वंसिनः कालवडवानलपातिनः ।
संख्यातुं केन शक्यन्ते कल्लोला जीविताम्बुधौ ॥ ४० ॥

saṃkhyātuṃ kena śakyante kallolā jīvitāmbudhau || 40 ||

Who can count the number of beings resembling the waves of the ocean, and on whom death has been darting the submarine fire of destruction.
