The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 1.23.23

अस्योड्डामरवृत्तस्य कल्पान्तेऽङ्गविनिर्गतैः ।
प्रस्फुरत्यम्बरे मेरुर्भूर्जत्वगिव वायुभिः ॥ २३ ॥

asyoḍḍāmaravṛttasya kalpānte'ṅgavinirgataiḥ |
prasphuratyambare merurbhūrjatvagiva vāyubhiḥ || 23 ||

The gale of desolation rising from the body of this desolator of the world at the end of a kalpa age, causes the fragments of mount Meru to fly about in the air like the rinds of the bhoja-petera tree.
