The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

शुभाशुभविषाणाग्रविलूनजनपल्लवः ।
स्फूर्जति स्फीतजनताजीवराजीवनीगजः ॥ १३ ॥

śubhāśubhaviṣāṇāgravilūnajanapallavaḥ |
sphūrjati sphītajanatājīvarājīvanīgajaḥ || 13 ||

Time like a wild elephant uproots all proud living beings in this world, as the other pulls up the trees of the forest with their tusks.
